Crafted from durable polymer, these panels offer a realistic wood effect with resistance to water, moisture, and impact. Designed for both wall and ceiling use, they suit living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, offices, and commercial spaces. Lightweight polymer construction allows straightforward installation using adhesive, silicone, or mechanical fixings. Panels can be cut to size with a standard saw and fitted around sockets and switches. Multiple panels join together for a seamless decorative surface. Whether creating a feature wall, updating a ceiling, or refreshing commercial interiors, DECOVISION panels deliver a modern architectural finish that is durable and easy to maintain. Wipe clean with standard household surface cleaners.
Key features
Specifications
Polystyrene ceiling tiles that cover a tired, stained or uneven ceiling in an afternoon — no plastering, no mess. Each pack contains four 50 x 50 cm injection-moulded tiles (1 m² of coverage) with a crisp embossed pattern, ready to fix straight over most sound ceiling surfaces.
Why polystyrene ceiling tiles
The tiles are high-density yet very light, so they go up with adhesive alone and put no weight on the ceiling. The closed surface shrugs off humidity, which makes them a practical fix for bathrooms, kitchens and toilets where paint keeps staining or peeling. They arrive white and take water-based paint well if you want a colour.

Installation
Clean and dry the ceiling, then fix each tile with a solvent-free grab adhesive — solvent-based products damage polystyrene. Tiles cut easily with a sharp knife for edges and light fittings. The same adhesive fills any small joints between tiles. An average ceiling takes a few hours.
Where they work
Bathrooms and kitchens with humidity marks, rental refresh projects, utility rooms, hallways and any ceiling that needs covering faster and cheaper than replastering.
Why Decovision
Lightweight materials chosen for one-person DIY, four patterns to suit plain and decorative schemes, and matching polystyrene coving to finish the ceiling edge.
The Decovision skirting board range turns the junction between wall and floor into a considered design detail. Four polyurethane profiles cover minimalist to statement tastes — including the LSB model with an integrated channel for LED strip lighting, which washes hallways and living rooms with a soft floor-level glow. All boards arrive in a smooth SuperSatin white finish, ready to fit as they are or paint to match your scheme.
Models and dimensions
| Model | Height | Depth | Profile |
| LSB | 115 mm | 21 mm | Integrated LED lighting channel |
| SB11 | 70 mm | 11 mm | Sleek, minimalist profile |
| SB12 | 101 mm | 15 mm | Classic modern profile |
| SB13 | 108 mm | 15 mm | Bold, generous profile |
Lengths: 15 cm sample, 120 cm and 240 cm boards, in packs of 1, 3, 5 or 10. The 240 cm boards mean fewer joins per room than standard 200 cm profiles.
Why polyurethane instead of MDF or timber
Built-in cable management
Recessed channels on the reverse face route electrical cables, TV leads and speaker wires neatly behind the board during installation — no separate trunking needed.
LED lighting option (LSB model)
The LSB profile conceals a recessed channel for LED strip lights, creating a floor-level glow that adds depth to hallways, lounges and bedrooms. LED strip not included, so you choose the brightness and colour temperature.
Installation
Cut to length, apply a suitable construction adhesive and press to the wall — boards fit in minutes. Pairs with all floor types including laminate, solid wood, tiles and LVT. Suitable for homes and commercial spaces alike.

DECOVISION XPS Foam Sheets — The Crafter's Choice for Premium Extruded Polystyrene
At DECOVISION, we manufacture extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam sheets in the United Kingdom and supply them direct — without the distributor markup you pay elsewhere. XPS is the dense, closed-cell form of polystyrene produced by forcing molten resin through an extrusion die. The result is a rigid board with a smooth surface, sharp clean edges and far better water resistance than the cheap expanded polystyrene (EPS) sheets widely available online.
What Makes DECOVISION XPS Different?
For Crafters & Artists
Our A5, A4 and A3 sheets in 5 mm, 10 mm and 20 mm are ideal for school projects, cake toppers, lino-style stamps, stage props, wedding signs, Christmas village bases and mixed-media artwork. The smooth surface takes water-based emulsion and acrylic paint evenly, so your finish looks clean without sanding.
For Model Makers
Railway modellers, 1:12 and 1:6 dollhouse builders, wargame terrain crafters and architectural students all use XPS as a lightweight, carvable base. Slice cleanly with a craft knife for crisp edges, or shape contours with a hot wire cutter for flowing landscape scenery. Bonds beautifully with PVA or double-sided tape.
For DIY Projects Around the Home
Thicker sheets (30 mm to 80 mm) in A1 and A2 sizes are useful for lining shed roofs, garage doors, conservatory ceilings, summerhouse walls and loft hatches. XPS has thermally insulating properties and resists water vapour thanks to its closed-cell structure.
For Packaging & Display
Protect fragile artwork, prints and board games in transit with clean-cut foam inserts, or use larger sheets as lightweight backing for photo displays and exhibition boards.

Important Notes
Frequently Asked Questions
XPS (extruded polystyrene) is denser, smoother and more moisture-resistant than EPS (expanded polystyrene). EPS is the white, crumbly foam used in packaging. XPS has a uniform closed-cell structure that gives cleaner cuts and a better paint surface. Yes. Score with a sharp craft knife and snap along the line for a clean edge. For more complex shapes, use a hot wire foam cutter. A fine-tooth hand saw also works well for thicker sheets. PVA glue, double-sided tape and solvent-free foam adhesive all bond well. Never use superglue, contact cement or any solvent-based adhesive as these dissolve polystyrene. Yes. Water-based emulsion and acrylic paints work perfectly. The smooth surface requires no priming. Avoid solvent-based or oil-based paints. DECOVISION XPS sheets are water-resistant and have basic thermal insulating properties, making them suitable for light DIY insulation tasks. They are not rated as structural insulation boards. What is the difference between XPS and EPS foam?
